Matviy

Hey, I'm Matviy.

I'm a huge UFC/MMA nerd, and for years I used Twitter (RIP, now X) to follow fights and “discuss” things with other fans.

And by “discuss” I mean: a lot of those arguments were... not exactly HR-friendly.

At some point I read about a guy who got completely cooked, cancelled online and then fired, because HR went through his old social posts. That hit a little too close. I realized:

“If someone ever digs through my old X history, I'm screwed.”

So I started looking for a way to clean everything up:

  • xEvery tool I found was some fancy SaaS dashboard
  • xMonthly subscriptions like it's Netflix
  • x“Connect your account, trust us with all your data”
  • xWay too much friction for a one-time nuke

I had zero interest in paying a subscription to “reset my social life” every month.

So I built my own solution: XRegrets.

I was the first user and crash-test dummy. It wiped my old posts fast, and I didn't have to:

  • Share my account credentials with some random service
  • Sign up for yet another subscription (I've got like 20+)
  • Learn some complicated dashboard

It just runs in my browser, I hit the button, and it quietly deletes the crap I don't want tied to my name anymore.

Now you can do the same.
